Save energy with a car club for Plymouth

Car Clubs provide the convenience of a car without the hassle and expense of ownership. 150,000 people in Britain and a million in Europe are using them to reduce their need to own a car or to take one to work. A study of the London car club suggested that membership helped members do without a car or use their cars less [1].

Now, Plymouth City Council is exploring the potential to set up a club here, with support from Carplus – the national charity supporting car clubs and journey sharing. If you’re interested in joining a Plymouth car club, Carplus would like to hear from you.
